BSc PGD Neuromusculoskeletal Physio, MCSP
Herbert graduated in physiotherapy from La Trobe University Melbourne in 1997 and then completed a post-graduate diploma in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy from the University of Hertfordshire. He is finalising research into hip pain in professional dancers and will then complete his MSc. He joined Harley Street Physiotherapy in 2015.
Since moving to the UK in 2003, Herbert has been the clinical lead physiotherapist at a leading London Hospital. He was appointed company physiotherapist at Rambert Dance Company in April 2014 and continues to combine care of the dancers with his work here at Harley Street physiotherapy.
Herbert advocates the health benefits of regular physical activity as a lifestyle choice rather than that of short term intervention. He has worked with both professional and amateur athletes, on the pitch and in the clinic and greatly enjoys participating in sports himself.
He has a specific interest and extensive experience in the management of the lower limb problems, particularly runners, triathletes and dancers, and uses biomechanical assessment and gait analysis to arrive at a diagnosis and an effective treatment. Herbert also specialises in management of temporomandibular joint disorders.
